Proton Exora

Prime Minister Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak officially launched the long awaited Proton Exora, Malaysia the first engine of the multifunctional vehicle (MPV).

Introducing the new MPV with the Prime Minister were PROTON Holdings Berhad Chairman Datuk Mohd. Nadzmi Mohd. Salleh and Director Dato 'Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir. The former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, at the start of the car of the project in 1983, was also with Tun Siti Hasmah Mohamed Ali, at the start.

The launch was by several ministers and vice ministers, foreign dignitaries and other guests to be distinguished.

The start today was an important step not only for protons, but for a country like Malaysia Exora is the first local MPV comprises approximately 90% of the parts and components. The Exora is the first totally "Malaysian-made" Van of the planning and the concept of design and manufacture of PROTON.

The Exor is available in six colors - Pyrite Brown, Gaia genetic Blue, Silver, Tranquility Black, Blue Haze and Solid White.
